This interim privacy notice covers what happens to data when someone visits BettingWoW. It rests on a review dated 9 September 2026 and was updated on 29 September 2026.
What is processed when a page loads?
Cloudflare delivers the site and protects it. Each visit sends network requests that can carry an IP address, the page asked for and technical browser details.
As of 29 September 2026, Cloudflare Web Analytics runs on every page. Cloudflare describes its Web Analytics service as a browser beacon that measures page views and performance. It was the only third-party request seen in the 29 September browser checks.
Fonts load from BettingWoW’s own server since 29 September 2026, so no font request leaves the site.
Which cookies and browser storage are used?

The review found these 2 items, one in the browser check and one in the theme code. More detail sits in the cookie and storage notice.
No Google Analytics cookies turned up on the sampled pages. The only public form on the site is the About page’s corrections form.
What do the server logs record, and for how long?
Access and error logs are enabled on the web server. The access log uses nginx’s default combined format: address, time, request, status, size, referrer and user agent. An address in the log is not always the visitor’s original one.
Logs rotate daily. Up to 14 earlier files are kept, as well as the current one.
This is not a promise that all information is deleted after exactly 14 days. No anonymisation schedule is claimed either.
What does the corrections form keep?
Each note keeps its time, the page it names and any source link. Before a note is stored, the form code strips email addresses, card numbers and UK phone numbers from its text. Notes sit in a file on the server, outside the public website.
Notes older than 365 days are pruned on about 1 in 20 new submissions. A daily check deletes spool files untouched for more than 365 days.
A salted hash of the connection’s IP address limits repeat submissions for up to 24 hours. It is never stored with the note.
After following a link off the site
Each destination handles its own privacy. It may use its own cookies, logs or identifiers. A referral link can also carry an identifier that attributes the visit. The 29 September 2026 scan of the sitemap’s 20 pages found no affiliate or tracked link.
Leaving BettingWoW does not carry these privacy settings across.
Which privacy rights apply, and where can a concern go?
UK data-protection rights can include information about processing, access, correction, objection or erasure, where the conditions apply. The ICO explains the right to be informed, including what an organisation must say about itself, its purposes and retention.
This interim notice does not name a controller or business address, and it sets out no lawful bases, recipients, international transfers or full retention schedule. Privacy questions can be sent to contact@bettingwow.co.uk. It does not certify compliance.
Don’t send identity documents, bank statements or passwords to BettingWoW, by email or through the form. For a privacy concern, the Information Commissioner’s Office can advise.
