Ice36 review and the choice between its two welcome deals

License: UK Gambling Commission
Sep 2026

Ice36 trades under Skill On Net Limited’s Gambling Commission licence. It lists 2 welcome deals for new sign-ups aged 18+, each needing £10 or more as the first deposit. Both depend on an account registration check, and Ice36 emails at sign-up if an account is not eligible for bonuses. The default match needs no code and doubles the deposit up to a £25 bonus, wagered 10x on slots only. Bets during that wagering stop at 10% of the bonus (min £0.10) or £5, whichever is lower.

Bonus code ICE136, the only coupon code on the promotions page, brings 136 Big Bass Bonanza spins at 10p. They last 24 hours and must be played before other funds. Their winnings need 10x wagering on slots, under the same bet cap worked out on those winnings.

There were also daily freeroll tournaments on the promotions page, entered by depositing or buying tournament spins from the balance. Ice36’s licence is Gambling Commission account 39326.

  1. Before depositing, ask live chat whether ICE136 can be combined with the automatic match.
  2. Deposit without a code for the automatic match, or enter ICE136 with the deposit for the spins.
  3. While wagering, keep every bet under the cap in the table, since a larger bet can void its winnings.

Every offer figure above comes from the Ice36 Casino site as seen over 28-29 September 2026, without signing up (method). Some review sites print a £50 cap or a far higher wagering multiple, which Ice36’s own pages do not show.

Example: a £25 first deposit brings a £25 bonus. At 10x, that needs £250 of slot wagering at £2.50 a bet or less.

With ICE136, £10 brings 136 spins worth £13.60 in stakes. Ice36’s own example puts a £10 spin win at £100 of wagering. On £10 of winnings the bet cap works out at £1.

How recent are the Ice36 reviews on Trustpilot?

On 29 September 2026 Ice36 scored 2.1 out of 5 on Trustpilot, rated Poor, from 104 reviews. Just 5 had been posted in the previous 12 months. Trustpilot warns that Ice36 has not invited reviews lately, so the score may not be representative.

The newest 20 one-star reviews span 15 October 2023 to 13 September 2026, and only 3 date from 2026. Of the 20, 6 describe a withdrawal that was delayed, reversed or not paid, and 3 a bonus lock on money thought free to withdraw.

Ice36 replied to 18 of them. Read the newest reviews before deciding whether to sign up.

Which clauses in the terms can cost money?

  1. Repeated deposits and withdrawals with little betting, or only low or very low-risk bets, can lead to account closure. Before closing, Ice36 may pass on its bank charges without notice, set in the terms at 15% of the amount. Don’t use the account to hold or move money.
  2. Wire withdrawals start at £50 and cost £10 unless the amount is over £500. The £10 comes off the balance before the payout is processed, so a £50 wire withdrawal uses £60 of balance. For small sums, pick a card, listed without a charge in the terms read. The same clause lists wallets at no charge but also names wallet withdrawals among surcharged payments.
  3. After 12 straight months without a login, Ice36 can charge £5 a month. The terms say it first tries to pay the balance to the last payment method used, and emails 30 days ahead only if that fails. If it fails, a £12 balance would fall to £7, then £2, then zero, where the fee stops. A login within every 12 months keeps the fee away.
  4. If a deposit has not reached Ice36 within 24 hours, all winnings made with it are cancelled. Keep the bank or card confirmation for each deposit.
  5. Dropping an active bonus in order to withdraw is final. If Ice36 later restores it on request, the wagering restarts from zero. Weigh the 10x before depositing, not halfway through.
  6. Winnings from any reward given without a deposit stop at £100 or twice the reward, whichever is higher. Ice36 removes anything above that. Check the cap before playing such a reward.
  7. VIP points lapse unless converted within 180 days, and only accounts opened before 19 March 2017 can turn them into cash. Convert points well before the 180 days run out.

What happens after an Ice36 withdrawal request?

Ice36’s terms give only an aim “to process all withdrawals within a few hours”. It is a target, not a commitment. Once processing is done, the terms say the funds are sent on at once.

Checks on a jackpot, or on any win from £5,000 up, can slow the payout and may involve a third party. Ice36 checks identity before any deposit or bet, first through an automated service, then by ID and a recent utility bill if that fails. Later checks, such as on a big win, can ask for more. Send documents only through the Upload Docs page, the only route Ice36 accepts.

Withdrawal requests count only through the withdrawal page in the casino software, never by email or phone. A deposit method that cannot take payouts needs a second verified method. Once ownership is verified, Ice36 may pay by any of its methods.

A payout that cannot be delivered returns to the balance after 7 days. Winnings can be voided if the name on the payment method differs from the account holder’s. Use only cards and wallets in the account holder’s own name.

Each payment method shows its own minimum in the cashier.

Player money is kept apart, in a Barclays account, which Ice36 rates as medium protection under Commission rules. It adds that repayment in full on insolvency is never certain. Withdraw winnings instead of storing them.

Is Ice36 legit, and who holds its licence?

The register lists www.ice36.co.uk as an active domain on account 39326, held by Skill On Net Limited. Its one licence, 039326-R-319358-061, has covered remote casino activity since 1 November 2014. Ice36’s terms cite only this Commission licence.

A Commission news article of 23 May 2023 reports a £305,150 settlement from Skill On Net Limited. An investigation by the Commission “revealed social responsibility and anti-money laundering failures”. Ice36 is not named, although the article puts Skill On Net’s estate at 50 websites.

Account 39326 had an empty actions list on 29 September 2026. The Commission takes public statements offline 3 years after issue, though older copies can be requested. Ask the Commission for the 2023 statement to see the itemised failings.

Ice36’s terms place company C50024 in Ta’Xbiex, Malta, but the register’s head office entry reads Limassol, Cyprus. Check the licence by account number, 39326, not by address.

Where does an Ice36 dispute end?

  1. Write to support with the account details and the complaint, by live chat after logging in or at support@ice36.com. Chat runs from 06:00 to midnight GMT, and email at any hour.
  2. If support cannot resolve it, ask for escalation to a manager or supervisor. The terms say a decision follows within 96 hours.
  3. A gambling-transaction complaint that survives both steps may be taken to eCOGRA, a Commission-authorised ADR body with a binding ruling.

eCOGRA needs at least 2 weeks to have passed since the problem began, plus every reasonable attempt to settle it with Ice36. It refuses disputes older than 1 year, or ones already lodged with a court or another ADR provider. Save every chat transcript and email for the eCOGRA file.

Which limits and breaks can players set?

Deposit limits can be set per day, per week or per month, with the tightest one always applying. A cut takes effect straight away, but an increase only starts after 24 hours.

Ice36’s Freeze lasts either 24 hours or between 1 and 6 weeks. It applies to that one account alone, and lifts by itself once the period ends.

Self-exclusion keeps your account shut for at least 180 days. Support can extend it to 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5 years. Ice36’s responsible gaming page says the block “will affect all known accounts you have on the same license”.

Never use another site to get round it. Ask support to confirm in writing that every account you hold is blocked.

Reopening needs a request to support, then a further 24-hour cooling-off.

GAMSTOP bars you from online accounts at any GB-licensed gambling firm. You choose a minimum of 6 months to 5 years, and it holds beyond that until you ask GAMSTOP to lift it. Use exactly the name and details on your Ice36 account when you register, since the terms tie the block to matching details.

SafeMate, found under Responsible Gaming in your account, tracks money spent, wins and losses, and time played over 6 months. Game Status Reminders, set in My Account or through support, appear after a chosen number of minutes. Ice36’s terms add that from 31 October 2025, an email every 6 months asks you to review transactions and limits.

You can’t play unless you’re 18 or older. Ice36’s responsible gaming page still points to GambleAware in 2 places, though that charity closed its doors on 31 March 2026. The Department of Health and Social Care now operates its website. Free, round-the-clock help comes from GamCare’s National Gambling Helpline on 0808 8020 133 in England and Scotland. In Wales, the NHS Wales helpline is 0808 2819 265, also free and open 24 hours a day.
